KK Hunt: Hobby Kingdom [Part 1]

Frankly speaking, KK is no much different in terms of Gunpla/Toy shops. In fact, there are about 3-4 shops only. There may be more but from what I have found, there are 2 in Asia City and 1 right across Asia City at the Api-Api area and the rest of the Gunplas scattered around in shopping mall like Parkson.

You will understand once you click on the map. I have only mapped Hobby Kingdom on the map. Will do the rest when the time comes. First off, here is a scan of Hobby Kingdom's card. Pretty well-designed and the person I chatted with in the shop is another hobbyist just like us. His name is Aifer. I had the chance to meet up with another guy named William; hardcore gunpla-yist and also some of the incoming customers :)

This is the shot when I am crossing the road to Asia City from Api-Api area.

There are actually 2 shops in Asia City. I forgot the name of the other one. Their gunplas were pretty decent priced BUT there is a catch. You have to be their member. Anyways, I hope that you guys can go have a look yourself next time :)

Here goes, I am too lazy to type too much. Just have a look at the random pictures I took :) Sorry for not getting better pictures as I only had my E71 camera with me.

The shop is not very big but still, a decent collection of toys :)

HLJ Free Shipping (Dec 2009) Purchase [Part 1]

Did anyone of you purchased anything from the recent HLJ free shipping sales ? I did :D. I bought a couple of goodies from them. This time's promotion is different as you have to get one of their "promotion products" to be entitled for the free shipping. Incidentally, they were offering the GFF #0035 Gundam Shin Musha at 50% discount !!! It was 4800yen/B$74.00 and brought down to 2400yen/B$37.00. All their stocks were gone in a flash and I was the few lucky ones who got it.

In you guys want to have a look at the review of this figure, please take a look at David John's previous posting here. One hell of a figure I must say. I was considering getting the MG kit but I can live with just the GFF :D.

[SALE] Sold & Reserved...HJ2009 with XN Raiser

I managed to get a few more copies via my friend in HK. Actually 4 copies of it. However 2 of them were immediately sold to 2 fellow hobbyist while we are chatting about Gunplas.

Remember Ryu actually helped me to post in his blog that 1 unit of XN raiser is for sale. The post is here. Thank you very much. During that time, I was still in KK and thought that getting the XN Raiser would be awesome for all of us gunpla hobbyist. So yea, Ryu bought one of them :) Thanks.

The other XN Raiser has been reserved for Syful. Extremely generous guy. Recently prized me with the Gold Frame Amatsu for building his 65% completed Noir. Once again, thanks :)

Just got back from KK :D Great place. Expect a couple of post on KK. I have mapped some of the Gunpla/Hobby shop of KK so that you guys can go have a look next time (if you haven't already) :).

I have also made some friends with the hobbyists there. Transferring and arranging pictures now :) A preview picture. Pardon the low quality pictures. Quality pictures will be provided by them in the near future :)
