[WIP] RG001 Gundam RX-78-2 WIP5

Almost there :) The kit is almost finished. I am attaching all the armors to the frames. Nothing much to say. Just have a look at the pictures for yourself. The RG is well worth every penny spent :)

[WIP] RG001 Gundam RX-78-2 WIP4

Finally the completed frame. Notice the different tones in the armors and frames. Trying to contrast the parts and make the frame more interesting. I might do some painting on it, mostly silver and gold when I have the time. For now, I will just get the kit together, at least to a standard I think is ok.

[WIP] RG001 Gundam RX-78-2 WIP3

I have actually decided to keep the original colors of the kits. In fact the RG colors are pretty good. However, I have chosen to matt black the inner frame and also top coat all the parts first before assembling. Its not the usual practise for many people but I like to get to see the finish product fast.

Some parts that forms the inner frame were made grey so that it can be contrasting when putting the frames together, rather than just all matt black. You will see what I really mean in my next post.
