BB Sangokuden LiuBei WIP2

A day of rest from work. Really tired these days. Since I have nothing productive to do, I took out Liu Bei and started the paint works. The color scheme is pretty simple, silver and gold. And both these colors are the easiest to apply.

In fact, this is the 2nd BB kit I have built so far. Never realize it until recently...haha..

I have just finished the first stage of the painting. Still need to wait for the paints to sink in before doing any other touch up. So you will probably see smudges and bleeds all over the place.

As a comparison of before and after painting...

Frankly speaking, SD/BB gunpla kits are a pain in the ass to "complete". Yes, its easy to build but the painting process can be tedious due to the various crazy patterns and small details.

BB Sangokuden LiuBei WIP1

I know that I have not finished posting some of the pictures of the kits which I have finished recently. In fact, I am still waiting for the mood to complete the following tasks:-

1. Alternity Cliffhanger action poses
2. Seraphim action poses
3. Strike IWSP various poses
4. Revoltech Krauser II action poses

But instead I took out the BB Sangokuden LiuBei and built it. Very very easy kit to build but alot of painting to be done. So far I have chosen to do the easiest i.e. painting the gold part.

BB 345 Sangokuden F91 Jiang Wei

I know, I have been posting about BB Sangokuden kits for some time. This kit however (like usual) is not mine as I am not too much into BB kits. It's Monkey-001's kit which he got from Toysworl for RM33.90, kinda pricey but this is where we can get it |||

By the time this post is up, he would have finished building the kit and started painting. Looking forward to his finished product soon. He still have a couple more kits which I have yet to take pictures of. Will do that once the mood comes. Tiring to take alot of pictures and the selecting it for posting...haha...

BB Sangokuden Manga Vol.1

I have been searching for the manga scans of the BB Sangokuden's gunpla kit. And I was not successful. So I decided to scan and post whatever I have and made is downloadable via mediafire in PDF format. The link can be found here.

Hey guys, still remember the Liu bei kit which I posted a few days ago ? I ripped the videos from the DVD and uploaded to youtube. There are 2 videos; one is the trailer of Sangokuden anime and the other one is BAKUC masked man teaching you how to build Gunpla. Abit lame but still ok to watch.

I will post the BAKUC Masked man tutorial in another post. Hope you guys enjoy the video (I think this trailer is everyway anyways...haha...)

[GET] BB Sangokuden Liu Bei...

I just bought a model kit of Liu Bei for the Sangokuden series. Cost me RM33.90 from Toysworld, Miri. It's a bit pricey because it has a DVD inside. This kit is quite cool but my friend Kenny has told me that BB kits are the most difficult to build to your satisfaction in the sense that almost all the parts needs to be painted and I agree with him completely.

Monkey-001 who was with me at that time bought the BB Sangokuden Cao Pi; son of Cao Cao. He has a couple of others as well and I will get him to bring them to me for some photos :)

Got this kit for a few reason; one is that it is expandable and can use parts from other kits in the lineup as an upgrade. Second would be the special sword item :) which can be use in his ultimate form. You will see it later in the pictures.

First up is the box-art. I must say that the sangokuden series packaging is both simple and clean but comes up with some awesome manga arts !!

See the "Secret Item" on the box art above ? That's the sword I was talking about. 3 swords altogether in this kit.

Some really cool manga in the manual. Hope that someone can scan all these in the future.

The manual is pretty simple. Not many things to assemble but alot to color though.

Only 2 bags of runners. I have not open them yet. Will only do it when the time comes to assemble the kit :)

Here is the promotioanl dvd inside the box. Quite a lame video...lol...I have ripped it and will be posting it up soon enough to share with you guys :)

Part 2 of Monkey-001's Luxun !!! This time, its all the action pose :D Enjoy the pictures and hope you guys like it !! There will be one last part to Luxun probably doing it's finishing move :D.

We will be seeing more of Monkey's work and toy collection as well :) Hopefully I can/would have finished my MG Exia and moved onto to HGUC Kampfer or Blue Destiny 2 at that time.

Busy with work. And by the time I have some time to build, its almost time to sleep. But its all good. Work is what enabled me to get these toys !!!
